A passionate QA Automation Engineer with strong problem-solving skills and an AI-first mindset, experienced in building scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. A collaborative team player who thrives in Agile environments, with a strong commitment to driving quality, mentoring others, and promoting automation best practices.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Experience in architecting test automation frameworks from the ground up or leading significant framework migrations.
- Build end-to-end automation using Playwright and Appium.
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and similar platforms to accelerate test development, debugging, and maintenance.
- Develop automated UI, API, and regression test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Identify automation opportunities, improve test reliability, and reduce maintenance effort.
- Mentor team members and promote automation best practices across the organization.
- Drive quality culture by conducting code reviews, establishing automation standards, and providing technical leadership/mentorship to junior QA team members.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress and Appium.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience using AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
