A distributed key-value store used for LinkedIn’s scalable distributed data storage. It is neither relational nor object, merely a catalog. It does not attempt to fully satisfy arbitrary properties and constraints, but rather allows for a massive, distributed, fault-tolerant, persistent hash table.
